Your phone is far too expensive and you are far too tied into the phone for you to ever worry about dropping it or breaking it. It’s a good idea to get yourself a gel cover or protective sleeve to keep the phone in. If you drop it, it should be fine and you should be able to operate without any trouble. They are inexpensive and even the very nice ones are cool if you are looking for something with a little style.

Universal Charger

The problem with most of the smart phones that are out there is that they are so technologically advanced that their battery life is the one thing that really suffers. If you have ever had a smart phone you can attest to be at the end of the day and thinking that your phone was going to give out on you. This is why you need a universal charger. These are the kind that not only plug into the wall but plug into the car as well. They make a great thing to keep in your purse or briefcase.

The point is that most of these accessories don’t need to be purchased. If you just stick with the basics you’ll have everything you really need.

Changing the World for the Better

Technology is a part of life. Without technology, you would not be able to enjoy many of the finer things in life. You would not be able to enjoy many of the simpler things that you take for granted. Your cell phone is probably important to you. Without technology, you would not have that little gadget to keep you connected while you are on the move. You would not be able to share music and movies files with friends using software like Ares Galaxy.  Technology makes life easier and more enjoyable for everyone in society.

Technology is always changing. People are always looking for ways to make life even easier than it is. They look for ways to improve the world. For instance, hybrid cars are a great way to help the environment. You can save gas and do your part to better the environment by driving a hybrid car. Without technology, there would be no hybrid cars. Without technology, there might not be any cars at all.

Technology has helped society move forward as a people instead of as individuals. Inventions are created, patented and produced for the entire world to share. Technology will keep finding ways to make life better and easier for everyone. Technology is making its way into third world countries, as well. Places that were once untouched by modern day technology now have cell phones and internet access.

It is amazing how technology brings everyone together in the world and allows them to share things simply and easily with Ares and other p2p software. As one person or country makes a new development, they share it with everyone else. Then, the entire world takes another step forward. At the rate that technology is improving, society has many good things to look forward to in the future. Although cars may never fly and people may never live in bio-domes on other planets (at least, not in this lifetime), there are still many advancements that will be made to improve life everywhere.

The Joy of Modern Technology

Technology is a part of your everyday world. From the microwave you use to cook your popcorn to the cell phone calls you make, technology is everywhere. Society tends to take technology for granted. People do not realize how much they depend on technology until it is taken away. Consider a power outage. Your life is dandy until the lights go out. Without electricity, you are forced to do things the old-fashioned way. If the lights are out for several hours, you may light candles as you “suffer” through your misfortune.

Technology is truly amazing. You can talk to people all over the world on your phone and your computer. You can make a living from home. You can shop for anything you want without ever going outside. Thanks to the internet, you could live in your home for the rest of your life and still have access to everything you need. Technology has connected the world through the intricacies of the world wide web. Many people forget the beauty of technology because they are so busy enjoying it. Take it away and they realize how lucky they are live in these modern times.

What would the world be like without modern technology? Could you live without the luxuries of everyday life, such as your cell phone and television? The world has evolved from the days of cave dwellers to the days of artificial intelligence. If technology were removed from the world today, society would probably crumble. People are not ready to start over. Most people are not equipped to face a world without ATM machines and satellite radio. The next time you turn on your iPod and play games online against someone on the other side of the world, remember how lucky you are to live in these fruitful times.

Organic Batteries Could Make Cellphone Batteries Last Longer

One of the worst parts of having a cellphone is having to constantly charge the battery. Some cellphones only have enough power for 12 hours with all the applications that are needed through out the day. However at the University of Texas, 2 scientists might have figured out a way to solve this problem.

The solution is using organic batteries that take energy from the sun through a process through photosynthesis. Christopher Bielawski and Jonathan Sessler found out that it’s possible to create an electron transfer without 2 particles combining together to make a new substance. It’s taken a while to accomplish this effectively.

This has lead to the possibility in the future of not having a bulky battery that lasts only a few hours or a day. It could lead to lighter cellphones because the battery will be smaller and weigh much less.

However, this technology is currently only available in a chemical solution. They still have a long way before it can be made into a chemical solid. Once this is done, cellphone batteries will not only be safer, but they will be friendly to people that wish to live an environmentally conscious life. It will require studying how photosynthesis, the way that plants get their energy, works and how we can mimic it for electronic use. Then it will require applying this knowledge to make better products.

In closing, this would be a big step in scientific research. It could lead to better sources of energy, not just in cellphones, but in electricity and other sources of power. This could lead to us treating the environment better without using up a lot of natural resources. This is turn would create the potential for electric cars in the future as well. While scientists have only made a small step, it’s a giant step in the longterm future.

CAD Technology Used To Make Designer Prosthetics And More

Having a prosthetic leg in the past has been a chore. Older prosthetic legs are clunky, unpersonalized and cost up to 60,000.00 currently. Not only that, but they lack individuality and we all like individuality right. Well, a development at Bespoke Innovations could potential change this using Computer Aided Drafting Technology. Scott Summit is teaming up with an orthopedic surgeon to design and sell these fabulous body parts that are customized to the individual if the person is willing to spend more. They are also planning on producing mass produced prosthetics that are lighter and less expensive than others one.

The key in Summit’s mind is to great a prosthetic leg that feels like it’s a part of them and is designed to show who they are instead of a cold plastic part. This will be accomplished by a 3D printer that is very different from a paper printer, that is able to stack layers of material. This doesn’t just apply to plastic, but it can apply to anything from metal to fabric that a person may like. Although, they haven’t figured out how to make a leg out of wood yet. It’s also used to make other designer products.

This is a big advance in technology, because models used to take 2 months and used to cost 100,000. Considering that these personalized prosthetics are down to 6,000.00 or even 2,000.00 this is quite an accomplishment. This is also a great example of how computer technology and medicine can go hand in hand to improve the quality of life for the patient as both Mr.Summit and Dr. Trauner an orthopedic surgeon have put equal time and effort into developing this type of technology. Dr. Trauner’s part will be scanning a limb to get an idea of the shape of the limb that the prosthetic is for. Computer technology is really opening up doors.

Use a cell phone to help deal with daily medication

One of the most frustrating things in life is the thought of having to take medicine or pills. It is all the more irritating when you have been diagnosed with some problem and your doctor prescribes a daily dose of medicine.

For most people, the very mention or the thought of visiting a doctor’s clinic is enough to send shivers running down their spine. In case it turns out to be such that they have been recently diagnosed with some disorder like diabetes, high or low blood pressure, an autoimmune disease, or another common ailment in modern days, there is no other option but to follow a strict regimen on a daily basis.  The day on which a doctor has prescribed you a specific medication is not always convenient; you may find that you run out of your meds in between paychecks.  In these instances, it is helpful to have a cash advance available.  Don’t risk your health waiting for your next paycheck to come in; a payday loan will help you keep your medications coming in on the right schedule.

It is not just consuming medicines but following a whole gamut of other things like a regular exercise schedule, physical therapy, walking, and a healthy, balanced diet that get added to your daily list of activities. Sometimes, you may have to forego some things that you enjoy, as many patients have found symptoms relief with the exclusion of such foods as sugars, wheat, or red meats.  The sacrifice is worth it, though, if you find a diet that brings you better health.

Having a diet chart and a medical chart in your drawing room will keep reminding you that you need to take medicines everyday.  Seniors often find it helpful to enlist the help of an alarm system that will send out warning signals as the hour to consume your medicine closes in.

Since we are now living an era that is so comfortable with technology, you might even consider using mobile phones that beep at the stipulated time. Voice recognitions could also be employed to tell you what medicine to take and at which part of the day or night it needs to be consumed.

Those of you who are on a tight budget may even take a payday loan to buy your regular medicines in bulk and stack them in your shelves. This will solve several visits to the pharmacist, at the same time; help you save money since you would be more each time.  Medications are often less expensive for 90 day prescriptions than they are for the traditional 30 day supply.

Why Is the Internet Appealing To Seniors

Senior citizens have considered computers and Internet as something that is not for them or is not useful to learn. However, a current statistics has shown that the percentage of seniors using the internet has risen from 22% in 2009 to 42% in 2010. So why this big increase? There are 3 areas that the Internet makes a senior’s life easier.

As a person gets older it gets more and more important to stay in touch with family and friends. If you are just relying on the phone and snail mail, it can be a daunting task to stay in touch with your friends and family members. This is where the Internet comes in, places like Facebook make it possible to find a long last family member or friend. This is as easy as typing in the person’s name and location.

Of course a lot of seniors have a big social circle and places like Facebook make it possible and easy to share events, thoughts on their mind or to send a random message. Once a senior learns to use the chat function, it’s also fun to chat with friends at any given time.

Last, but not least, the Internet opens up ways to research deceased relatives. For seniors that can travel around the country or the world to look up records, that is great for them. However, a lot of seniors are bound to their houses or cities. For them, being able to go to genealogical sites like Ancestry.com and Genealogy.com that can connect the seniors with other distant family members this is great for them. It’s a way to complete and research the family tree without traveling.

All in all, there are ton of benefits and reasons why seniors are using the Internet more. They are realizing the benefits of social media to keep up with and find living friends and relatives. Not only that, but it’s easier to research their family tree.

How Social Media And Internet Skills Make Young Adults Job Ready

Some parents may see the Internet as a useless waste of time if it’s used for anything but researching and doing homework assignments. However, knowing the inner workings of things like Twitter and Facebook are actually good for a student to learn. Some reasons include having the ability to network professionally on the internet and get noticed.

At one time, it was completely possible for a person to get a job just by getting a degree and filling out an application without knowing computer skills or social networking skills. A person didn’t need to know how to network or find jobs on the Internet either. In a way, this makes adults a bit more obsolete in the business world than their middle school, high school and college age children. This is one reason why local libraries and career centers have job search courses.

The last way that young adults with Internet and Social Media Skills are less than marketable has to do with the fact that companies will hire people who understand social networking and how to do research on the Internet over people that don’t. For young adults that are behind there are college courses that can be taken as electives. Overall, it’s a smart choice to learn these skills.
